There is another problem with the Asus K8V Deluxe which only seems to exist in the second edition of the board. The ASUS board has worked just fine. I’ve got the K8V deluxe working just fine. This is under bit Gentoo with a 2.

Wed Mar 31, 9: Does that mean a maximum? The powernow-k8 module fails to load. Both of these boards seems particulary adept however, from what I have read, the newer Asus BIOS’s allow for enhanced overclocking allowing one to define ethernst speeds for different buses whereas the MSI is limited adjusting all 3 buses with the same setting.
