Bottom line, so far, able to immediately speak to a human being when I called with a question, which for me is a big plus. I’m sure that within a few months CalDigit will probably have the driver sorted out. Since I have a Macbook Pro I was concerned about these posts, and in my phone call just now, I was assured by CalDigit that the issue had been addressed and the problem fixed. With new USB 3.
